heyoka.model.get_egm2008_mu() → float#

Get the gravitational parameter of the EGM2008 model.

Added in version 7.4.0.

This function will return the gravitational parameter used by the EGM2008 geopotential model expressed in \(\mathrm{m}^3/\mathrm{s}^2\). The value is taken from the official documentation of the EGM2008 model.

Returns:

the gravitational parameter used by the EGM2008 model.
