heyoka.model.get_egm2008_a() → float#

Get Earth’s reference radius in the EGM2008 model.

Added in version 7.4.0.

This function will return the Earth’s reference radius used by the EGM2008 geopotential model expressed in \(\mathrm{m}\). The value is taken from the official documentation of the EGM2008 model.

Returns:

Earth’s reference radius in the EGM2008 model.
